Wow... completely forgot this was here...
Last entry 2007.
Things sure have changed since then - let me tell you.
For one thing I am no longer involved in promotion of anything to do with the 'adult industry'. And my viewpoint(s) on that entire subject have changed a lot to say the least. (example I no longer support decrim.) I shall post more about that - my thoughts, reasons, feelings - etc based on my extensive/entire life experience in the biz in another blog soon.
Just for a bit of a start will say this much for now - the fact that I do not support decrim anymore does not mean I do not support sex workers rights. The core convictions and feelings of compassion, love 'n respect and freedom of choice for all SWs past and present are still deeply entrenched in me for sure. I just don't believe anymore that decrim is the way to go to afford or be able to enact all the protections SWs need and deserve. More about that later.
The other biggest changes I have made are as follows:
I am no longer at this time nor will I ever again work in or support in any way the promotion of any adult biz. Nor will I work in the management/administration of or as a consultant off or any other roles in any way, shape or form for any type of adult biz.
Inclusive of however not limited to the statement above I will also no longer recruit, promote or encourage in any way ladies to enter any type of this biz. I will however offer any that are considering entry of this sordid world my experiences, stories, observations etc - then if they wish to make an 'informed' choice to go ahead still - I will let them know that I am available to them to offer them info, support and connections to help them should in the future at any time they decide to leave the business.
Told you things have changed, eh!? Those that know me well from this industry in the past are shaking their heads reading this saying "No - way not TheNiteHwk" Well YES way - Read it and weep - cause This IS TheNiteHwk's way from now. All my true close friends that know me though have known this for awhile. And they all support me 100% - and they also offer the same love'n respect and support to all you all that I offer the same too.
So now I am putting it out there in public for all to absorb and consume - please I look forward to your replies - by all means bring it on - lets discuss!
